First of all, I have to say that the girls are doing well. They just finished their first quarter at school and they both, oddly enough, ended up with 1 B and the rest A's. I'm so proud of them. Kyndall, as a result of her grades, just received her first cell phone. It came with a detailed contract that defines expected results on her end for the privilege of having the phone. Dani and I have no doubt that she will be fine...she just has to keep doing the things she's doing now. Megan was a bit jealous of the whole phone thing, but I made sure she understood that her time was coming when she too (with good grades) would be getting a phone of her own in the 8th grade. What the heck...you can't please your kids all of the time right?...lol.
The wedding is quickly approaching and our invitations went out today. We are so excited while, at the same time, making sure we are covering all of the things that need to get done before that wonderful day arrives. I can't wait to call Dani my wife...seems weird at first...but if that's weird...then I want all the weirdness life has to offer.
Dani and I just went to the NKOTB (for those of you not in the know...that stands for New Kids on the Block) concert. Natasha Bedingfield opened for them and it was really a great show overall. Ok...just so you ALL know...Dani was supposed to go with a mutual friend of ours (Wendy), but that friend mistakingly bought plane tickets for a trip home on the same weekend as the concert...so I got to go in her place. Make fun all you want...but the concert was really cool. It was nice to see Dani all excited to see her childhood heartthrobs on stage as 30-something men. Here are a few clips I managed to take of that night...enjoy!
Natasha Bedingfield singing "These Words (I Love You)". Please excuse the countless people that just couldn't sit down during this part of the concert.
NKOTB singing their recent release "Single". To be honest, when I first heard this song on the radio I had NO idea it was NKOTB singing it...and yes...I liked the song a lot...lol.
Okay...okay. Since I know you're all dying for another clip...here's an old school NKOTB song from the concert. Here's "Please Don't Go Girl"...for all you Joey fans out there.
There you have it folks...hope you enjoyed yourselves. There will be more updates and things to share as time goes by. Bye for now.
